The Force Awakens!!!!

The force has failed me.

With months of anticipation and toys being bought in preparation for the big day, so that I can take the 2 biggest little fans of Star Wars to the movie that has been keeping them hyper than a dose of sugar at 4 in the afternoon.

With all this bottled excitement and me earning all my mommy points, the late release of the age restriction has left me with the task of disappointing my little boys on a day that has been counting down in our household.

How do you advertise a movie to kids younger than 10 years old and promote toys...ALL THIS TO MAKE MONEY AND AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY CANNOT WATCH THE MOVIE!!!!

I was allowed to book my tickets whilst the high and mighty were deciding what the age restriction would be and the staff still asks the question, how many children under 12 years old???

I EXPECT THAT THIS PROMISE BE HONOURED!!!!!

NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE SELL AND BUY PIRATE COPIES!!!!

Hello mommyrey,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and please accept our sincere apologies.

Your complaint has been escalated to the relevant people for consideration, however at this stage I can confirm that no children under 13 will be permitted to see Star Wars.

You are welcome to voice your objection to the age restriction with the Film and Publications board directly.

Kind regards,
Ster-Kinekor
