Ster-Kinekor: Cresta

On Friday, 21 July 2023, I attended the Cresta branch to watch Insidious. My wife and I managed to get our tickets without hassle. Shorty after the cinema facilities became so crowded due to the Barbie premiere. I do not mind this but the staff seemed inundated with the amount of people. Getting our refreshments took a while.

We had booked for the 8:15pm show and we were to go to cinema 6. Once in, it was pitch black, where my wife and I (as well as other patrons) needed to use their phones to find the seats.

The cinema was sill filthy with popcorn bags, cooldrink glasses etc. The movie had started and they were still cleaning up.

After 25 minutes of the movie, the screen began to flicker and the sound became distorted. I went to management and the lady was quite kind. She advised the this had happened today. Why were patrons allowed to use the service, knowing that there is issues.
