Ster-Kinekor caused us to miss half the movie since their machines were not working. First I-Max experience turned out to a No-Max. Manager rude and people sent us to wrong cues!

<p>On Saturday 25th June 2016, just before 2 oclock show, we bought 4 tickets to go see Independance Day at IMAX in East Gate shopping centre. The card machines were not working, so we were further delayed. Afterwards we went to purchase food at the food and the card machines were again offline. The lines were so long we landed up missing some of the movie so decided to go into the cinema and go out once we were settled down to buy the food and coldrinks.</p> <p> </p> <p>First of all, I was told to go to the wrong cue / cash only cue even though I already paid at the food area to get a slip to collect the popcorn and coldrinks with. Then after 15 minutes of standing, I went to complain to the manager on the day on duty for the 2PM show. She ignored me and treated me horribly. I was treated less than human.</p> <p>I then had to go in and we later on went out again to show the slip to get coldrinks and popcorn. So basically we missed half the movie.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is due to</p> <p> </p> <p>1. Ster Kinekor machines were off line and many customers have complained.</p> <p> </p> <p>2. Manager who did not care on the day and workers who let us stand in the wrong cues.</p> <p> </p> <p>Since this was Ster-Kinekors fault due to the machines offline (Which can be confirmed).... we need to know what are you going to do about this service and how we are going to be compensated for the half the movie we missed.</p> <p>We have been members of Ster Kinekor for many years and our very first I-MAX experience was a NOMAX! Very disappointed.</p> <p> </p>
