Star Kinekor Cresta inconsistency in rules

I booked tickets to watch Pacific Rim: Uprising. Having previously taken my 11 year old to the same cinema to watch Jumanji, I didn't think the PG13 age restriction would be an issue.

I arrive with my son's and wife, purchase the ridiculously expensive combos only to be turned away, with the usher simply staying, "We are very strict with our age restriction." Baffled, I asked to speak to a manager. A lady named Thuli, incredibly rude and unprofessional appears and reiterates what the usher said. I made the point that we had previously viewed a film here that was pg13 so what's the issue... if I, as the parent, is fine with my kids viewing a movie that's PG13?

We then discover that Thuli isn't the manager and requested the manager. So off Thuli goes to bring along a hair netted clad Mavis. Now, not even a greeting, no professionalism whatsoever, which made me believe that she wasn't a manager either. Needless to say, the rude behaviour of the cresta staff, along with these bull**** rigid rules around PG rated movies is quite disconcerting. The inconsistency in your rules are staggering. We would never have been turned away from a Nu-Metro cinema.

The staff at Cresta Ster Kinekor are pathetic. The rules around PG and the FPB are also ridiculous. It's not like the kids were unchaperoned and it should be a parents prerogative. It's pathetic.
