Sony Playstation Network Always Down! (Via PS3)

I have had trouble connecting with the SONY PLAYSTATION NETWORK for weeks now.. Service is VERY intermittent, and in most instances I can't connect...<br> <br> There is no one to call, the Sony website apparently reports no server problems either..<br> <br> Therefore, I can not access [URL Removed] on my SP3 because you have to be logged in to SPN :(<br> <br> Yes, I've even reset to defaults setings..<br> Yes, I'm a network expert and know there is nothing wrong with my cables/ router/ switch etc.. on the network..<br> Yes, I can surf via the (****) PS3 Web browser.. i.e. I get DHCP assigned IP & DNS etc..<br> <br> NOW WHAT? IS SONY LIMITING THIS SERVICE SO THAT WE HAVE TO UPGRADE TO A NEWER DEVICE?<br>
