Shocking service at Ster Kinekor, Cavendish, Western Cape

I booked online for my partner and I to watch the premier of The Hustle (details above) only to be turned away when we arrived because it was a Ladies’ night !

There was absolutely no mention of this on the website booking for the airing of the 8.15pm show. The service was appalling. The Manager scuttled away unable to face the 10 or so couples that were standing there wanting to know why they couldn’t attend the premier when 90 % of the cinema was empty !

I’m truly shocked at the clear disregard for service and their failure to train their staff who clearly have absolutely no idea how to deal with issues like this. Not only that but they were quite arrogant about it as if it was our fault ! What amazes me is that Ster Kinekor are such a huge franchise yet they really don’t give a hoot about the customer as they clearly monopolise the industry which is so sad. It basically turns out to be a David –vs- Goliath situation. They simply don’t care about customer service. Poorly trained staff is the first issue and the clear disregard for the man in the street because they will continue raking in millions.
