******** customers

Ster Kinekor Gateway. After accidentally booking the wrong ticket, we went to customer service to change the ticket to the correct time. We were requested to provide our Name and telephone details. Not even two minutes after leaving the desk, my dad’s phone rang from a blocked number. The person said that they had over charged my father’s card by r10 000 but it cannot be fixed within 7 days. The person on the phone said his name was “Bongi”. They said that my father should come to the office. He said he could see my father at cinema 7 and that he was wearing a white shirt. My father was at the ticket office and said he would like to speak to “Bongi” face to face and speak to the manager. He approached the ticket desk while speaking to “Bongi” on the phone, and found Meeran Deepchand. When “Bongi” realized my father was speaking to the real manager he put down the phone. Meerand was able to check and verify that a r10 000 transaction had in fact NOT been processed on my father’s card. We can only conclude that the person was phishing to get more details to de***** my father. This a major concern that ster kinekor employees are using customer details to try and **** them. What will be done about this!?
