Sabotaged Movie Screening

I went to Sterkinekor Kempton park on Saturday the 16th of December to watch a movie that was advertised on the website "Overdrive". First we got to the gate and the mall gates were closed. Security told us the mall was closed. We eventually got to the movie house and the lady at the front desk told us we were looking at the wrong website so i showed her what was showing on line. She sent us upstairs to pay for the movie. The ladies upstairs told us that they apparently had problems showing the movie and that a cartoon would play. Somehow we knew that was not true. They said the movie would play for 30 to 45 minutes and would change over to a cartoon. So we said we will try and see. If it plays a cartoon, we would then request a voucher for us to come back and watch another day when the movie or screening is fixed. They said if we paid for it we would be forfeiting our money because they were not giving us any kind of refund. Eventually we went in to the movie house and from the beginning it played disney trailers and a disney movie followed. After the movie ended the lady from the sales desk asked very sarcastically "how was the movie" knowing full well that they had screened a cartoon. The message we got from these people was that they wanted to knock off and we were the only people in the movie house. This is no way to treat a paying customer. If employees want to leave early, movies should not be scheduled after a certain time.
