Racial stereotyping
Ster kinekor once again like all other movie houses in SA is using racial stereotypes to determine WHERE and how long black African movies are show cased. The movie Potato Potahto was released on the 24th of November and ster kinekor is ONLY showing the movie in Mitchell's Plain. Normally black movies are shown at selected cinemas and for a short period but this instance takes the cake. I am black and i enjoy watching black African movies but like many other black people i don't work, live and have never been to the Promenade Mall and would appreciate a wider cinema choice.
