Poor Service / Management
I pre-booked a movie Ref nr WWT3DFK. When I arrived at Saturday Irene (16h30) for the movie – electricity was apparently off since early – they gave my a voucher and said this can be redeemed any where else. I said please not I have a ticket and 2x regular combo’s. No problem I was told, just show the barcode you have received.
I left and we decided to go to Brooklyn later the same day. Arriving in time to watch 20h00 movie. I was told I CAN NOT use my regular combo – only my voucher for the movie and had to RE PURCHASE 2x combo’s as the stock wont add up as initial stock was booked to Irene. This resulted is a major conflict with the manager which said sorry she cannot help – can I also add that 2x staff working behind counter and manager even laughed at us as they said we are not the 1st people of the day.
I am paying Ster Kenikor as group – now I am told go back to Irene to get your food combo and then come watch the movie at Brooklyn – this is unacceptable.
Big argument – at the end I repurchased 2x combo, so my movie resulted in the following expense
Driving to Irene for nothing, drove back home to kill time, arriving at Brooklyn and then have to spend another R180 for 2 more combo’s because the combo I paid for can only be used at Irene.
After purchasing 2x combo’s AGAIN I was told oh sorry we don’t have any coke zero – in other word no cooldrink without sugar – I asked for sparking water – oh sorry we don’t have sparkling water – only still water…………. But wait it doesn’t end there – as I went to sit on my seat – I was disgusted at the cupholder – this was emailed to ***
I find movies are so empty and this is how I get treated – Why cant a customer that paid for a combo not be helped and internally credits can be passed? If this is how Ster-Kenikor want to do business - i dont see the movie house to be operational for very long anymore.
