Policies needs to be upheld/enforced

Being a club member of ster kinekor and enjoy going to the movies with my daughter I was totally disgusted by the whole experience I had today at ster kinekor n1 city mall. I purchased tickets for my daughter and myself to watch ant man and the wasp, 17:15 show. To my utter dismay there was a child aged between 2 and 3 running up and down throughout the entire movie and was quite a disturbance. I approached the manager, Celena Nellie after the movie to enquire about the age restriction as I know previously I was not allowed to take my daughter due to the age restrictions. She said that babies and below the age of 2 was not allowed in the cinema and said why did I not come call her during the movie. The age restriction on this movie was 7-9pg. Firstly age restrictions are put on movies for a reason, secondly a child of that age cannot and will not sit still or be quiet for -+ 2 hours, thirdly what is the purpose of the person tearing the ticket stub before you enter the cinema and lastly why did I have to call her and do the job that a person was employed to do. The fact that she tried to brush me off and make it seem like the norm that people sit l there with their underaged kids because if that was the case nobody would be able to enjoy any movie.I strongly feel that customer care needs to be revalued/reviewed/practiced especially with the amount of pirating happening. I spent approximately R200 inclusive of snacks at ster kinekor today but will definitely think twice about going there soon or in the near future. R200 may not be alot for you but as a single parent it is.
