PLAYSTATION 3 INTERNAL PROBLEMS

I had purchased a PlayStation 3 with wireless controllers just about 2 years ago. About a month back the controllers refused to sync to the main console. I had made numerous enquirers as to why this happening. I was told to reset the controllers with a pin where there is small hole in the back of the controller and then connect to the console using the usb cable. Then the console on and then press the PS button on the controller which did not work. Then I contacted CRT in Durban and they said that it is the battery in the controller that could be packed up. I had the battery replaced and guess what it does not work. I bought new controllers not the original but genetics. Guess what they do not sync to the console as well. Then today I finally contact PlayStation on *** and they tell me that the motherboard is damaged and this cannot be repaired. How does this get damage, nobody knows. I must s**** the machine and get a new one or trade it in for a refurbished one for the cost of R 1800.00. Is PLAYSTATION manufacturing products that last for a certain period and if you look at my console its has not a scratch on it that show well look aftered it is. I am shocked!!!
