Only screened Fifty Shades of Grey on Valentines

Yesterday I went to watch a movie at Ster-Kinekor at Brooklyn Mall which, according to the information online, was supposed to start at 17h45. When I arrived at 17h30 and tried to book for the movie, I was unable to book for it as well as any other movie through the self-service kiosks. I then noticed that they were screening Fifty Shades of Grey in ALL of their cinemas, the earliert showing staring at 19h30. When I asked an employee there why the other movies were not showing (mine was supposed to start at 17h45) he came up with an excuse and told me that they are not showing the movies because of a short notice they supposedly received on load shedding. I didn't believe that for a second. This was a bad stunt they pulled for valentines day and gave a lame excuse for everyone else who did not wish to watch a movie which promotes abuse and vuilence in a relationship. If they were to screen similar content which is aimed at men, there would be public outcry and riots in the streets. It seems that this was a money manking stunt and that Ster-Kinekor clearly doesn't care about all their other customers. They even go as far as to lie to me about why the other movies are not showing.
