One of my most anticipated films of the year ruined!

15/10/2017 - on this date I decided to go watch Blade Runner 2049, a film I was really excited to see! I went to go watch the film at Cresta's Ster-Kinekor movie house - big mistake. I was about an hour into the film and I was really enjoying it until a flashing effect occurred over the video. Now, at first I accepted this as some sort of film effect but soon realized that the projector was malfunctioning. After the flashing stopped, the video and audio were out of sync. The audience waited about five minutes before we started to complain and ask questions. When I went to complain to the Ster-Kinekor staff they weren't very helpful, they would just listen to you and then run off into some room. Twenty minutes later we are told to leave the premises and receive a free movie ticket. Now, this is by no means acceptable. I drove quite a distance and planned my weekend accordingly to watch the film and then ster-kinekor offers me a free movie for the next time I come through. This is just not sufficient as they ruined my film and will not give me my money back. They force you to come back to their cinema to watch another movie which could potentially be ruined by some technical error that the Ster-kinekor staff are incapable of helping. What a waste.
