Old popcorn at IMAX

A few weeks ago on 24 September my husband and I saw a movie at IMAX. I'm sure you know how expensive the tickets are. When we got there we each bought a large popcorn and a medium coke. Before we paid I had some of the popcorn - it was old. It might sound petty of me to complain about this, but two popcorns and two cokes amounted to almost R100 - the movie experience was thus about R300 in total. This is a lot, and to give people old popcorn which cost you probably 20c to make, and to charge them huge amounts for it, is unacceptable. I complained to the cashier, who denied that it was old. I asked for the manager, who was immediately on the defense. He said that he does not agree with me that the popcorn was old, as it had \just been popped'. Obviously
