No seating for senior citizens
Over Christmas my family & I went up to Bloemfontein to visit my 89 year old gran for her birthday. We thought it would be lovely to take her to a movie, as she hadn't been to the cinema since before her husband passed away in 2011. My sister went ahead with granny, while we took care of parking. When we met them at the cinema foyer, my gran was sitting on the floor!!! She has a walker, a knee replacement, pace maker and a bad hip. We were shocked that there was not one couch or seat in the foyer and not one of the staff came over to help her or find her a chair! This is a town with many senior citizens, who like my gran, can't stand around waiting for a movie.

There were two other elderly people sitting on the steps of the exit, as they too needed to sit. We struggled to get my 89 year old granmother up and she had a pain in her hip the rest of the day from having to sit too low down.

In Cape Town we have incredible cinemas and I have only Excellent reviews about Blue Route Mall where we go regularly
