No ecard scanning equipment

I activated my vitality movie benefit online and had my ecard on my phone (iphone wallet/passbook) to produce at the cinema as instructed (which if downloaded electronically then there is no activation fee required). I proceeded to Maponya Mall to go and watch my movie but I was told that they do not have the resources to scan my ecard and I am forced to pay the activation fee to get the physical card! Why would you say that this service is available at your malls and when one gets there they are only met with the opposite?? Very pathetic and unprofessional in my standards...not happy at all.
