No aircons in December??

I went to the movies with my kids on Wednesday (20 December) and again on Friday (22 December). Both movies were shown in Cinema 5. On Wednesday the move (Daddy's Home 2) was a old movie and we were about 10 people, so I thought that was the reason that the aircon was not on. But on Friday, we went to Cinema 5 again, for Pitch Perfect 3 - a new movie!! Again - no aircon. I went out the first time - the cleaner said she will ask someone. A few minutes later it was really hot - and there was a lot more people. I went out again and spoke to one of the employees. She said that unfortunately the aircon in cinema 5 is not working!!!! Why don't they tell us this in advance!? It is December in Kimberley and it is soooo hot!!! How do you show a brand new movie in a cinema that does not have a working aircon in December???
