Never will I go there to watch a movie again!

On Saturday 26 August, I paid R288 for 4 movie tickets to see Annabelle at the 20.15 show in Cape Gate. Throughout the entire movie, people were talking, laughing, using their phones and it took the whole "horror" element out of the movie. I ended up not enjoying myself, my friends were irritated, we felt like we were sitting in a teenage cheap movie. I understand the move had a 13 age restriction but I honestly think you need to have staff come in and keep an eye on things. They could then tell all those who were making a noise to at least keep it down otherwise remove them. I did not pay out almost R300 to babysit. I had my chair kicked a number of times, I didn't get to hear half the movie because of the people behind me, to the top right behind me and to the bottom left from me all talking loud to their friends, shouting at the screen foe the girls in the movie to: "Don't go up there! Don't do that. Ooh jinne, she's doing it" then screaming for every little thing. I will NEVER be using Cape Gate cinema again, I will never be using Ster-Kenikor again either for that matter. I will rather go back to Nu Metro at grand West and Canal Walk where I normally go so that I can actually watch my movie and get my money's worth. Totally disgusted in my experience at your cinema. I only went to this cinema because it was showing the movie but next time, I won't bother. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD and watch it at home otherwise i'll wait for Nu Metro to show it.
