Mysteriously unfound belongings

<p>On Sunday we went and watched Despicable Me 3. I am a regular cinema goer and I'm also asked why I even still hire movies when I can just get the Pirate Copy by associates. I choose to support my local movie house. So we get dressed and go to the Cinema. Only us and a decent lady with her kids in our row right at the back. Bella(my daughter) dropped her Ray-Bans that she got for Christmas last year on her seat. She is 4 year's so that's normal. The movie is done we leave only to realize that her sunglasses are still on the seat. Remember nobody sat in that row. But a very decent woman with her young kids.</p> <p> </p> <p>I come back 5min later and the staff says no sunglasses found. I go in to look and nothing. The girl that accepts tickets said the manager says there is nothing reported found. How is it that only a cleaner would have dug in my daughter's seat and couldn't find it. I have realized that if it was a no name brand that it would most likely have been handed in to lost and found.</p> <p> </p> <p>It's enough that the movie tickets are ridiculously expensive now still to "not have my daughter's very expensive sunglasses discovered" leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. I think this is the last I will go to a movie house and more so the one at Bayside Mall.</p> <p> </p> <p>They said they will give me a call. But I wonder if they even took my details seriously. They were very nonchalant playing on their phones and buddy buddy tagging their way across the floor. I am someone that returns people's stuff. Why when I'm the one at the other end do people not return the favour. </p> <p> </p> <p>I know that ones goods is left at own risk but geez, for someone that's still contributing to keeping the Cinema alive the least somebody could sincerely do is have the decency report missing what is not rightfully theirs.</p> <p> </p> <p>This puts me completely off from this movie cinema scene and yes I do enjoy going to the Cinema but the lack of interest in someone that contributes to people's salaries, the least you expect is a bit of effort and.courtesy.</p> <p> </p> <p>Anyways... it is what it is... I have made my mind up with regards to going to the movie house. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
