multiple console failure

My 14 month old Playstation 4 console started ejecting the disc at random. It would even switch itself on to eject the disc at completely unpredictable times. As this is a gaming console this makes it unplayable. Looking online I found out that this is a common issue with the first edition console much like the problems had with the predecessor the PS3 on its initial release. <br> The main issue is that the console is now a R6000 plastic ornament and not the only one as 2 of the 8 other people I know with the console also have the same issue and it arose around the same period if not later than mine. Support has been shocking and offered no real solution but replacement at my own expense which is baffling considering that this is a clear design fault which should have been fixed before release as a fan and customer of the brand since its debut I think that this is absolutely poor and therefore difficult to reccomended purchasing until this issue has been totally resolved
