Mediocre Online Booking system left us in tears
I went with my 4 year old to watch Spider-Man: a favourite for kids, with online bought tickets. We got there and were turned back for his age. We are in tears at the cinema.
There is no clear disclaimer on the online site that prevents or at least warns the user from buying tickets for children below the age restriction. Instead, the writing is hidden all the way on a Terms and Conditions page, far from where tickets are ordered.
If it is so important that the age of the people with tickets is known there should be a facility that let's you choose the age of the people who will be attending, and a warning that a child of a certain age will not be allowed in.
You would not sell a ticket to a child who is under age in the cinema in person, but online there are no measures taken to make sure that BEFORE the ticket purchase, the customer is well aware that they will be turned back if they go to Ster Kinekor with these online tickets that had zero information.
