Manager was rude and not helpful - FREE birthday ticket seems to be a ****

I am a SK Club member and received an email that I have a FREE birthday ticket. I went last year and its a fun outing and I take my family with me. I get a free ticket and my family is happy to pay for theirs. I tried booking online but it didn't work, there is no birthday voucher to download. We went to Cresta with 30 mins to spare before the show and asked for help to redeem the birthday voucher. After much back and forth a very unfriendly, rude manager eventually says you have to have been to movies once during the year in order to get a free birthday ticket. I last went to the movies in Nov 2025 so sorry for me no birthday ticket. I checked under Ts & Cs about this, there is no mention of how many times you need to see a movie to qualify for the free birthday ticket. She said all the staff know the Ts & Cs so I don't need to worry about it. But she couldnt say why they send the birthday email to everyone, even those who may not have seen enough movies. We left and spent our money elsewhere on a really nice outing. Its disingenuous to falsely advertise. And we wont be going back.
