Inconsistency

I am a regular at the Sandton city branch of the movies, I know the staff behind the counter, the ticket ladies etc. Yesterday after years of going there I was told I cannot take in food. This has never happened to me, nor was I going to eat inside the cinema. It was my supper for later which was sealed. I was asked to leave it unattended in the mangers office who I don’t know, which is a safety issue for me. I also don’t like the attitude the ticket lady gave me when saying I can’t take it in, when she herself has let me in many times with food.

I know this because I always buy food for home then watch a movie, it’s my routine. I don’t take in food to eat it obviously, but I’ve never been asked to walk all the way to my car to leave it there. I’ve gone in all the time with food and no one ever stopped me, I’ve taken in pizza boxes of food for home and no one stopped me, except for yesterday. All I'm asking for a is some consistency and some proper application of rules . Not as and when they feel like.

What if I had groceries in my hands from shopping at checkers, would I not be allowed in? What if I had a kid with a backpack of a baby food, would I not be let in? Food is food. You guys need to apply rules consistently all the time, not change then when the managers change shifts.
