*********** staff at Matlosana Ster Kinekor

Me and my husband went to watch Detective Pikachu last night at the Matlosana(Klerksdorp) branch, the movie was set to start at 19:30 so we got our popcorn and drinks and scanned in our tickets at 19:20 to be on time for the movie to start. When we entered the movie was already playing and was halfway in. When we went outside to find out what's going on the personnel didn't even know what time the movie was starting and tried to make it look like we were late for the movie. When that approach didn't work, they sent somebody to restart the movie. That person did not know how to do that, and had to phone an IT technician for help (by this time there were many people waiting outside with us) as they also did not know how to stop the movie. The person in charge of the tickets then tried to blame us for the movie playing because we had scanned our tickets in too early (as if that was going to make the movie start earlier - also somehow skip past the ads and 30 minutes into the movie). They did not apologize and there was no clear management. No one at the cinema seemed to know what they were doing. Our movie eventually started more than 30 minutes after it was scheduled to after the staff were standing inside the theatre shouting at each other trying to figure it out.
