Horrible experience with staff at Ster-Kinekor (Gateway)

Ster-Kinekor (Gateway) has the most deplorable staff. Last night the 01.08.2019, we visited the Ster Kinekor at the Gateway to watch a movie. We had purchased the combo which consists of 2 pizza's, 2 drinks and 2 popcorn"s. Only to realize the popcorn was extremely stale and not fit to be eaten. We then decided to take it to the purchasing counter (at the movie level) and ask them to replace the popcorn with popcorn that is not so hard and edible. Upon requesting this, the counter staff had asked us *********ly to take the popcorn ourselves and throw it in the bin and then come back to them with the same popcorn buckets to fill popcorn. Firstly, is that the type of service the staff at Ster Kinekor Gateway offers? Are they getting paid to ask customers to do their jobs? We had still done this but did question as to why we were asked to do such an abhorrent action. The response of the staff member named Zakone was that we complained it was stale so we should go and throw it in the bin why should it be done by her. She was rude, arrogant and had no sort of customer care s****s at all. In fact she actually stood in front of us and abruptly shouted about assisting us. This being done in front of all the customers waiting to be attended to. When we requested her name she ignored us constantly after walking away and then shouting it out aloud. A piece of advice to Gateway Ster Kinekor, your cinema is not receiving customers of no standards to be treated in such an ********* and unprofessional manner. For people like us who are imperious and come to your cinema to watch a movie in the most dignified way unequivocally do not need that sort of service from staff that was suppose to be a bit more polished in what they were suppose to be doing regarding customer services. Your staff member Zakone was ********, *********** and certainly unprofessional in being asked to assist with a simple thing like popcorn. Certainly will not watch another movie at the Gateway again
