Horrible experience

<p>Myself and my friends regularly watch movies at Ster-Kinekor in Sandton City and Rosebank Mall, usually around 2-3 times a month although the past couple movie watching experiences have been ridiculously bad. Our most recent was watching X-men on the day of the release. Firstly, no lights were on when we entered the cinema as the cleaners took their sweet time and let everyone in late. People were stumbling around in the dark trying to find their seats. Secondly, considering how long the cleaners took, the seats were absolutely filthy and I stood in a full puddle of something right in front of my seat. Next was the screen. It was damaged so badly that we almost couldn't make out what the heck was going on, on the left side of the screen. The projection was also off and the movie had blue/yellow banding on it. It was like watching an anaglyph 3D movie without the glasses! Next was the sound. The audio was very quiet, not to mention the HURRICANE of an aircon above us that completely drowned out the audio! After 20 minutes we just couldn't take it anymore and had to leave. Ster-kinekor, have some pride in your cinemas, with the exorbitant amounts you charge for snacks and drinks you should at least be able to provide a medium to decent movie watching experience. Pathetic.</p>
