Feeling normal at a exuberant price

After paying R222 for two movie tickets we were met by an understaffed concession stand. It took me 35min to get to the front of the line and cost me the first couple of minutes of the film. The extreme delay come due to the cinema only having 4 employees behind the counter and 3 sold out screens (That I know off from trying to buy a ticket). When I finally got to the front of the line I was met with an R18 charge for a 250ml bottle of water. After explaining that my wife is very allergic to the colouring used in sodas and that she can only drink water, I asked if I could only have a paper cup like those used for the soda. My only aim was to give my wife with a more Normal movie experience. I was however told that I would have to pay an additional R18 for this paper cup. I am truly disgusted with the utter lack of empathy that Ster-Kinekor has shown towards a person that is struggling with a medical condition. They obviously aim to make money and would stop at nothing (even taking advantage of the ill) to get it. I for one will never support this company ever again and I would make sure that I use every opportunity to get my story out on every social media and newspaper.
