False advertising can waste time
I regularly receive updates from Ster-Kinekor and was quite excited when I received a notification from them to advise me that because I had a birthday during lock down I would receive a free movie ticket. I tried on numerous occasions to obtain this ticket online as requested to do but the system kept showing that I had to pay.
I, then, decided to call them to inform them of the problem but nobody rep**** so I sent an email to advise them of the situation but nobody ever responded. I resent the email twice after that, before my birthday which was in July but still response to my emails and it's 3 months later.
This incident has left me with unanswered questions and no desire to want to go to movies in case there may be other incidents with future bookings.
It was within an hour of posting my review that I received a voucher for a free movie that is valid for one year.
Thank Ster-Kinekor for taking the time to ensure that your business reputation is kept in check.
I appreciate the effort as sometimes businesses are not aware how their staff conduct themselves and could cause a bad reputation.
