Extremely hot conditions in Cinema

We went to see Mooiriver on Friday evening at Ster Kinekor East Rand Mall. When we entered the cinema there was a fan due to the airconditioning being out of order. Why was my husband not informed earlier (about an hour before the show) that the airconditiong was not working as there was already a heat wave in Jhb and this made the time spent in the cinema unbearably hot. I would appreciate feedback on this issue as this is a result of poor poor management.
