Ethan for Employee of the Year

Good day guys,

I’d like to make you aware of the service that I’ve received from one of your staff members.

On Saturday I went to go see Avengers Endgame at your Somerset branch. I booked seats for the 17:45 show. We decided to order some snacks and we were assisted by a young gentleman by the name of Ethan.

Without him doing anything special or out of the ordinary, I could easily say that he’s the best employee I’ve ever worked with at Ster-Kinekor.

With Avengers Endgame arguably being the most anticipated movie in recent history, coupled with the fact that it was month-end, queues were a bit longer than usual you could say. After a very long wait to be served, I was lucky enough to be assisted by Ethan. He took pride in his work, genuinely smiled while doing his duties, and spoke clearly and politely at all times to us while making proper eye contact. He did his job efficiently, made a suggestion that we took when my fiancé was undecided, and he even wished that we’d enjoy the movie and the night further.

As simple as the compliments above may seem, you need to experience what I’ve experienced. Everyone comes to this platform or go on social media to complain, but never have I had such an urge to compliment someone for just doing there job well. What Ethan did was not anything special, anybody is capable of doing the same but it’s very rare that you’ll ever see it. I’ve worked in customer service for about 10 years, and I’ve never seen someone produce such high quality service so effortlessly.

Regular staff would be counting the seconds to their next break or when there shift will be ending. They’d be having a bad attitude, show that they’re tired and would rather be elsewhere. Just looking at the queue and listening to people complain about the expensive pricing would **** anybody’s spirit. I don’t know if he’s just new or eager to please, but I truly believe that he will master any profession he decides to pursue. This is just a stepping stone for him. If you do your job to the best of your abilities, even when it’s not your dream job, you’re just setting yourself up for future success in anything you do. I’d suggest paying closer attention to this young man and moulding him into a role where you’d hopefully be able to keep him for a while at least. He is certainly an assist to your company and I hope his work doesn’t go unnoticed.

Please pass my positive feedback of Ethan to upper management. He deserves to be recognised and known within your company. Everyone that works with him can definitely take a page out of his book.
