Eastgate Cinema Complex - Poor Service Always

<p>This is my third movie at the IMAX Ster -Kinekor Eastgate .</p> <p>From the opening of the cinema complex most patrons have not had positive experiences at the movies .</p> <p> </p> <p>1) More thought should be put into the flow of people around the beverage ordering system . The system bottlenecks and there are long queues and unfriendly staff or no staff are around to assist . The manager is also ******** and just patronises the customers and turns a deaf ear .</p> <p> </p> <p>2) For the exorbitent prices for a box of popcorn and 500ml coke surely one could get a carry box . The staff refuse to assist including the manager stating that you cannot get a carry box unless your purchase a combo . What is the cost of a box if at most R 1.00 as opposed to R 70.00 for a popcorn and coke .</p> <p> </p> <p>3) Be warned the grumpy ladies at the lounge upstairs will only give you your coffee in a cup and saucer to carry in the movie . How does one have a coffee in an imax seat with coffee served in a coffee cup and saucer , I asked the lady for a paper cup for my coffee she refused stating that i cannot have one as the cups are counted and they may not give me a cup .</p> <p> </p> <p>4) The floors of the entire cinema complex once your enter the movies are sticky and the environment isnt clean .</p> <p> </p> <p>5) If you need to use the toilet facilities also be warned , the facilities are not clean or regularly cleaned not , I wont say anything else on this point .</p> <p> </p> <p>In a nutshell , grumpy staff , poor service , unclean facilities and a less than everage movie experience is what R 200.00 a person will but you at Ster-Kinekor Eastgate .</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
