Double Standards with regards to age restrictions
On 3 April I booked tickets to see Fast and Furious 7 which has an age restriction of 13. I paid no attention to this, as the youngest person (7 years old) going with us was allowed in to see Amazing Spiderman 2 at Ster Kinekor,which carried the same age restriction. When we got to the entry point we were told we could not go in because of the 7 year old. Not only that, but my nephew and his friend, who were old enough to watch the movie, were told flat out that they were \LYING TO GOD"by the usher. I found this to be extremely offensive"

We appreciate your feedback and would really appreciate if you could get in touch with us to tell us which other cinema you visited. The rules with regards to age restrictions are meant to be app**** consistently across all exhibitors, not just Ster-Kinekor, as we are bound by law to apply the rules as stipulated by the Film and Publications board.
The matter with regards to our employee's conduct has been addressed and we have taken the appropriate action.
