Dissatisfied client

My family and I today decided to go watch a movie @ Mall of Africa, we booked the movie tickets and since we were early, we went to have some lunch. Afterwards went to the Ster Kinekor to watch the movie, upon arrival the attendant told us we cannot enter because of our “doggy bag”- left over lunch. We explained we just finished lunch and our intention is not to eat our left overs. The attendant told us they will keep our food,take note it was indicated it will be stored on an open counter. I am not sure if anyone will leave their food with strangers, I definitely do not for obvious reasons. We requested to speak to a manager since we already paid for the movie, the manager was adamant we will not enter the theatre with our food. In my opinion, no logic was app****, Ster Kinekor sells popcorn,sweets and drinks which from my experience leaves quit a messy theatre, so I do not understand their logic refusing us entry because of our left over food. The attitude of the staff poor, if they could offer to lock up my food with the key in my possession maybe I would have considered watching the movie. We are regular Ster Kinekor supporters and the lack of service received today, I can only attribute this to total incompetence, you will rather loose a client than offer decent alternative, in the service industry the Golden rule not letting an unhappy client to leave certainly does not apply to Ster Kinekor. Please wake up and start providing service
