Disaster Experience
We had a few unpleasant experiences at Cape Gate yesterday. Firstly my father and sister-in-law signed up for your club card in order to get the tuesday discount. Turns out you don't only pay for the card with your first ticket anymore you now have to pay R64 and get a 'free' ticket which is considered 'complimentary' which means the whole experience was spoilt by having to now buy yet another ticket to watch the movie which now cost R102 x 2 just for the 2 of them to watch the movie with us not to mention the cost of 3D glasses now R11 instead of R5 as it used to so this brings our total to a whopping R226 for the 2 of them. Next we told the cashier we are paying separately but sitting together yet he seated us nearly a cinema appart as we sat in row A he put them in row J even though they chose row A. When we wanted to go in we were told they are still cleaning even though the movie was already starting. Onto the drink issue, no straws which meant my sister in law had to get up while the movie was on to go back and get straws. Not only did this whole outing cost us a fortune but it really was made sour by all the little things. Its a disgrace.

eIts been a week today and I was told the team would be informed and still no one has contacted me from Head Office or Cape Gate. Please see all info below in case you lost it or forgot about me.

We had a few rather unpleasant experiences last night at your Cape Gate branch Captain America Civil War 3D Cine 5. Firstly my Father and sister in law signed up for your club card in order to watch the movie cheaper turns out its changed you have to pay full price and you can only get your complimentary movie later on and not 3D. Next thing the 3D glasses price went up from R5 to R11. The seats were booked wrong they asked for seats at the back and were given seats in the middle. My sister in law ordered a coke and popcorn combo only to be told there's no straws so she had to leave while the movie had s****ed to go and fetch a straw. Before we could go in at 17:00 after the ticket was scanned we were told you can't go in they're still busy cleaning, how so when the movie s****s at 17:00? This really was a disappointing experience and put us all in a foul mood.
