Disappointed, Angry.................Im going to Nu metro Ladies Night

I sent a complaint to Ster-Kinekor on the 4th December 2019, regarding the girlfriends getaway at Gateway Mall, that my friend and i attended.This was a first time visit to the ladies night and i felt like i had been ********** because of their false adverts. i have heard so much about this event and the positive reviews about how ladies were treated to a night of spoils,only to turn up and be disappointed, i booked online and paid the extra surcharge because of the complimentary drinks,goodie bags etc. I received a reply on the 5th December about how they were sorry about the inconvenience caused and that they operate on a strictly first come first served basis and they will be escalating the matter to their head office to ensure i receive my package that was promised on the next Girlfriends getaway.

This was my reply : Thank you firstly for acknowledging my email.

Secondly, nowhere in any of your adverts was it underlined that this was working on a first come first served basis, I am not going to wait for the next girlfriends getaway to be ********** again, in fact I might never do it again.

I should have been charged the normal price for tickets on the site and not pay extra for something that was falsely promised, there were no pop ups or information displayed at the checkout of my booking and neither did the ster kinekor staff advise me of this.

This is not about the gifts etc. think carefully about your adverti*****ts before it reaches the public on social media and your website instead of ripping people off, I was charged more because of this event and I read very carefully before making my booking, I did not see “First come first served.” I even attached the adverts which didn’t have any t’c and c’s.

It is embarrassing because I treated my friend to this day who’s in Durban for the holidays and she was amped for this, only to arrive expectant and leave disappointed.

I sure hope your head office can sort this out! I await a response, but i guess some compensation is too much to ask for.
