CRESTA UNPRESTIGES

On Friday, 17th February my partner and I had decided to go and watch '50 Shades Darker' on the supposed Prestige Screening @Cresta Mall Sterkinikor. Upon booking the seats for the last screening of the eve that we wanted to occupy- we were told that service is different in the prestige side and also that we would be able to order from a variety of foods sie. pizza etc should we feel like having something.

Excitdly, we arrived at the venue. Upon walking into the cinema we found 2 other people occupying our 'booked' seats. Finally found 2 lazy boys located like 4 rows down from where we intended to sit. As it was a few minutes prior to the start of the film we had decided that we should maybe press the allocated button to request for the menus so that we can order food and snacks and something to quench our thirst throughout the show. After a few minutes worth of epic failed attempts- my partner had no choice but to eventually go and seek someone who could assist us and take our order. About 10 minutes later of having to watch the beginning alone, he had returned and told me he finally found someone and had ordered the only option open and available to us-the 'Platter for 2'. A rough 35-40 minutes passed when finally the ood and snacks arrived. To ourdissapointment, we had payed R 270.00 for 2x 1l Colddrinks from the soda fountain, a pack of old smarties, and the platter for 2 containg literally 8pieces of different samoosas- standard sized and drenched in oil. Upon asking the waitron if she's sure that this is it, she answered us: 'Yes it is , because there's 2 of each'. I mean really. Never, ever again!!
