Cresta movies- Don't get popcorn early or you are met with hostility and aggression.
Went to the movies on Saturday night, I loved the newly renovated cinemas at Cresta Shopping Centre, but the staff at the refreshment counter were so rude to me that it detracted from an otherwise pleasant evening. I had to wait 10 minutes for the woman to come out of the back, already without taking my voucher I could tell she did not want to help me. I have worked in customer service, and I understand that you have bad days, but when you are the front line of a business, swallow your attitude and be nice to the customer. I was asked very rudely as to why I was collecting my popcorn now, if the movie was only due to start in 15 minutes. And was met with hostility and condescension when I said I like to snack on my popcorn before the movie. The woman there was so rude and hostile to me, that I probably won't be visiting this cinema again. Yet on a positive note, the gentleman at the ticket station was super friendly.
