Cine Prestige?

Last night, I decided to take my girlfriend to Cine Prestige (Cavendish square) to show her for the first time what it was like to have a more enhanced movie experience. However this was no the case at all. When we arrived, there was nobody there to take our tickets or to take our orders in terms of beverages. This wasnt a huge train smash as there could have been an under staff issue.

When somebody did arrive to take our orders, they insisted that all food and drink would be given to us when we sat down before the movie began. When we sat down, my seat was out of order(as well as not exactly clean) meaning it couldn't recline. We also had to listen to a lot of screeching from other seats that sounded very poorly maintained. When the adds began, we received the wrong food and beverages, which meant I had to go back out and sort out the issue. The staff on duty had no clue what was happening when i told them that we didnt order what we recieved.

I then went back inside with the promise that we would recieve our food that we had already paid for. We waited and waited and the movie started without both of us not having any of the refreshments we had ordered. I then had to go back outside to ask them what was going on. 30 minutes into the movie, We recieved pretty stale popcorn, A gasless coke and a warm water.

So I ask the question, what is the point of spending a R260 (R130 per ticket) and R170 on food and beverages, if the quailty and service is going to be that poor? I encourage more people who go to Cine prestige to complain as this is not an isolated event and people need to be made aware of the poor quality before forking out hard earned money.
