Ceiling falling during movie

There was a storm in the westrand on Monday the 9th of October. I was watching a movie with my son at Ster-Kinekor Cradlestone. The roof flew off and the cieling fell on us. Needless to say it was quite a scary experience and was horrified that Ster-Kinekor Cradlestone was ill prepared for this. It came to the fore that there wasn't a first aid officer no a first aid kit on the premises, we knew that because the staff was shouting that out to each other, they could not offer any emercency/or first aid assistance, there was no evacuation procedure and every one was all over the show. A friend had gone to watch a movie with her young daughters, one under 7 and the other under 12, the girls managed to get out of the cinema before their mom, and none of the staff attended to them as they were indicating that their mom was still in the cinema, I had to call them and keep the calm and watch out for their mom. As the material from the ceiling was itchy on the face and eyes, we were told to wash out with water, whether that was the appropriate action, we don't know. We were told that the government ambulance had been called to see if anyone needed medical attention or counselling, we left before it even arrived. The affected cinemas were not closed off and people could still go into a potentially unsafe area to take videos and pictures. The staff took our contact numbers and promised us a follow up call, we still did not get one. I phoned headoffice to complain to them about the lack of trained first aid personnel. lack of first aid kit andlack of evacualtion procedure , they said they would investigate and get back to me. I have not had any feedback from Cradlestone, nore from head office....
