Birthday Complimentary Ticket

Good day.

I received your complimentary ticket email, for a movie. Last night I drove to Maponya Mall, for a movie (as promised), only to be told that I could not get the complimentary ticket as the system did not pick me up. I eventually paid for my ticket, as I was already there.

This is completely appalling, could it be the free movie tickets are just a way of getting one to the cinema with the hope that they will pay since they are already there? This means that my trip to the cinema would have been a waste of time, if I did not have money to buy a ticket. It would be more honorable to be be upfront about your "complimentary" tickets, as opposed to getting one to your cinemas under false pretense.
