Bad service
As the country went to level 1 of the lockdown, my wife and I thought it was a good time to catch up on a movie as we missed out for the past six months. So, we went to Ster Kinekor N1 City to watch," The New Mutants". We went on 18 September 2020 at 16h15. The movie was playing, however the lights was still on. We informed one of the staff but it took almost 10 minutes for them to switch it off. To make matters worst, about 20 minutes before the end the sound went off, once again we informed the staff. We waited about 5 to 10 minutes before it was fixed. This ruined our experience. We then spoke to I think one of the managers Siphokasi( could be wrong) and the projectionist and he stated that there was a technical issue and he fixed it regarding the sound. The manager could not sort it out and had to phone her manager, Yaya, who was in Eastern Cape. Not sure what Yaya could do from there. I then gave Siphokasi my details, witnessed by the projectionist. She stated that Yaya would call when she returned from Eastern Cape, this past Monday. It is Tuesday and no call. This is service is unacceptable.
I am terribly sorry to hear about the bad experience at our cinema and the lack of feedback.
I am investigating what happened and will revert before the end of the day.
