Bad service and unreasonable

Firstly my husband and get to the Ster kinekor at Cradlestone and there is no one at the counters. The staff members at all standing at the stairs having a chat. My husband had to demand for us to be served. I tell the lady that I booked tickets online, she asked for the reference number which I gave her and the tickets printed. As we were about to entre the cinema the lady comes runnning saying our tickets are for yesterday and not today. She calls the manager who basically told us she cant help and we must call the customer care line. She was not helpful. We left. I called the customer care and told them of the situation and they said I cant get a refund. Really?
