Bad Service

On Sunday (5 April) a group of us went through to Ster Kinekor at the Bedford Centre to watch the 8pm showing of Fast & the Furious 7. It was understandably a busy show, as we arrived at about 7:45 and the lines to the refreshments were the longest I've seen. We waited about 45 minutes to get to the front of the line after staff kept calling forward people who had only just arrived 2 minutes ago. There was also a complaint from another customer in the line, who was understandably frustrated. When we reached the front we were told there was no slush puppies (the reason we stood in line in the first place). Staff did not seem very interested in our pleas for service (and there were many). At about 8:35pm we entered the cinema to finally watch the movie. We don't understand why there was such a backlog when almost all the tills were manned. Surely Ster Kinekor has plans for large showings. We missed about 15 minutes of the movie, thats excluding trailers. It was the worst experience i have ever had with Bedford Centre Ster Kinekor and was definitely not pleased. If this is how Ster Kinekor handles large showings, we will definitely not be back for regular movies.
