Bad Experience at Ster Kinekor Sandton City

Took my 10 year old son to go and watch Spies in Disguise which is PG rated 7:30pm show at Sandton City. As you know movie tickets including popcorn and drinks are not cheap and so its a rare treat. Our experience was terrible in that there were two famileis with older kids (about 10 years old) and very young kids (about 2 years old). The 2 year olds were running around the entire movie screaming ontop of their voices and not even watching the movie at all. after about 20 minutes of enduring this disturbance i complained to the mother of the one kid and she gave me a look like how dare i complain. She went out the cinema with the kid for about 5 minutes and then returned and the annoying screaming and running around continued. I did not want to get into a confrontation with the parents and so i decided to just accept this behavior and then complain to managemnet after the movie and request a refund. I explained the situation to the management and they said they cant do anything about it as i did not complain soon enough. Something to the effect of a 30 minute window of opportunity. I explained that i didn't want to cause a scene and that i has to endure watching the movie with this disturbance that completly destroyed our enjoyment of the show baring in mind that its not often that we get the chance to visit the cinemas due to the cost. They simply gave me a hollow look with zero compassion and prettty much not interested in my situation. I am in the service industry and i find it hard to fathom how management can react in such a manner. Its not like we are trying to take advanatge of the situation and get free tickets. Our experience was completely ruined and i was expecting management to be sympathetic to this fact and give us a refund to atleast come and watch the show again another time. With this kind of attitude i am never going to spend my hard earned money at Ster Kinekor again. Very dissapointing to say the least.
