Another week, another terrible experience at Ster Kinekor

Another week, another terrible experience at Ster Kinekor.... Went to Forest Hill City. It was like watching the picture through foggy lenses - dark, shadowy, indistinct - and the sound was terrible. Left to speak to someone about what is probably related to the luminosity of the digital projector (which I strongly suspect is turned down to save on costs) - to no avail - staff are simply not interested (apparently all Star Wars movies are "dark"). Mmmm... To add insult, cleaning staff arrived twenty minutes before the end of the film and proceeded to make a racket (and leave the door open so we could hear what was happening outside). What delusion forms the makeup of Ster Kinekor management that they think that they actually provide a quality service to South African cinema-goers, how have our standards dropped so low??
