Airconditioning problems!

Yesterday (Sunday afternoon 6 December 18h30) we treated ourselves to a movie and we were hoping to escape the heat by sitting in an air-conditioned cinema. We walked out after 2 hours as we could not breathe any longer. On our way out we saw a single portable fan standing in the cinema and that made us realise that the staff knew about the problem and never informed any of us - the clients. We were probably the 5th couple that walked out for the same reason. We complained to the staff on duty and their explanation was that they reported the problem to the maintenance people and they have not fixed the problem.<br> This not our first bad experience with air conditioners at the Brooklyn complex and specifically at the movies. Are they not serious about fixing the problem? Do they not value their clients? It is also very clear that the staff are not trained to handle irate clients and how to inform movie goers about problems in the cinemas. It seems that they are just selling tickets and then hope for the best! Not a pleasant experience at all!
