I just got a call from Amanda, who said she's the owner of the store. Instead of just apologizing for the fact that I'm sick, she blamed it on an airborne pandemic in Potch and claiming that many other people have told her they have a stomach bug. But I do not have a stomach bug, nor does my friend. We have a foodborne illness - we have been vomiting consistently since yesterday, amongst other symptoms. She claimed that her restaurant had been evaluated that day - insinuating I am a ****. When I told her that I would be letting friends and family know the kind of treatment I got from her as well as the illness I got from her restaurant, she asked me to describe myself so she could find me on the cameras. She also told me that she's a member of councils etc at the North-West University in Potch, and then proceeded to tell me to "Be careful. What goes around comes around." So now she has my phone number, and she knows what I look like. Is she going to somehow influence my academics? Or is she going to send someone to physically harass me? Is this the level of customer service Steers prides itself on? Having their managers threaten customers?

She also asked me if the ice cream was sour. She told me that unless the ice cream was sour, there is no way it could make me ill. She clearly has very little understanding of how foodborne illness are caught. This further shows me that Steers owners/managers are not aware of proper hygiene procedures. For an owner to tell me that the only way a person can get ill from ice cream is if it's sour, shows a complete and utter lack of knowledge/ignorance.
