Wacky Wednesday Special not So Wacky!!!!
Hi, On Wednesday the 18th Sept, I visited the Steers Durban North branch and ordered a Wacky Wednesday Chicken Burger Special. I collected the order and headed home upon opening the package I found the burgers not up to the usual standard of a Wacky Wednesday Chicken special that I normally buy. I was very disappointed and I was not in the mood to drive back to the outlet, as I was irritated and hungry. On Thursday the 19th Sept, I contacted the regional office in Pinetown and was furnished with Marlon Vadivelu contact details and I was told he was in a meeting. I sent him a WhatsApp with the picture of the burgers and that he should contact me. Instead, I was contact by an another individual of which I didn't get the name. He did apologize but I told him that I need to meet with owner and regional teams to understand why do we need to accept this service, let me know the date and time. I had no further correspondence on Thursday. On Friday the 20th Sept, the day went by and I received no communication. I sent Marlon another WhatsApp that I have not been contact, message was read but no reply. On Friday evening, a bit frustrated that no one from Steers is taking this complaint serious I sent an email including the above and pictures of the poor standard of the burger to 5 senior people at Famous Brands, besides the company secretary replying that she will escalate the matter, what surprises me another 4 people ignores a customer complaint. Its now Monday afternoon 23th of Sept, clearly after trying numerous times to talk to Senior Management it is not working. I am very disappointed with the way this complaint is being handled and I will post the images of the product on social media for comments. What really gets to me is that this brand spends millions on advertising, maybe they need to invest in training of management to mange customer service. Disappointed.
