Wacky Wednesday...... Old rolls

I bought 2 Wacky Wednesday deals yesterday from the Steers in Brackenhurst. 2 Chicken and 2 Beef. When I got home to plate up, I found that all four burgers had old rolls. It crumbled into pieces. It was the most disgusting burgers I have ever had. My husband phoned the store and complained about the old rolls and the manager couldn't help, so she suggested he must speak to the owner. My husband said he thinks that is why they run the Wacky Wednesday deal.... to get rid of old stock. The owner assured him this is not the case, however, why would he be sending us "fresh" rolls then? He said the expiry date is 11 August 2017 for the rolls.

I have, at a previous occassion, had exactly the same experience, where the rolls were so old that you could not stomach the burgers. Therefore my review, because this cannot be coincidence??
